The EMEA Masters 2026 Summer Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) kicks off on Sept. 21, giving 16 teams from across the EMEA Regional Leagues (ERLs) one final shot at the Swiss Stage. With only eight spots on offer and every series played as a best-of-three, there’s very little room for a slow start.
Whether you’re backing an established contender or looking for an upset, we’ve shared our EMEA Masters Summer LCQ betting predictions, including a look at every opening matchup and the teams we believe are best placed to survive the group stage.

EMEA Masters 2026 Summer LCQ Schedule & Format
The LCQ runs from Sept. 21 to 23 and is played entirely online. It is the first stage of the wider EMEA Masters 2026 Summer event, which features 43 teams and concludes with the Grand Final on Oct. 23.
The 16 LCQ teams are split into four GSL-style groups of four, with all matches played as best-of-three series. Each group works as a mini double-elimination bracket:
- Opening Matches: The four teams in each group are paired off for two opening series.
- Winners’ Match: The two opening winners face off, with the victor qualifying immediately.
- Elimination Match: The two opening losers meet, and the loser is eliminated.
- Decider Match: The loser of the Winners’ Match plays the winner of the Elimination Match for the group’s second qualifying spot.
The top two teams from each group advance to the Swiss Stage (Sept. 26–Oct. 2), where they join 24 teams that qualified directly. That means every team in the LCQ can still go on to win the whole tournament, making early outright prices on these rosters worth a look.

Prize Pool Distribution
Riot has not publicly confirmed a prize pool for EMEA Masters 2026 Summer at the time of writing. For LCQ teams, the immediate prize is a place in the Swiss Stage and a chance to compete with the region’s best ERL rosters for the final EMEA Masters title of the year.
How To Watch EMEA Masters 2026 Summer LCQ

Opening Match Predictions
Skillcamp vs Arctic Pandas (Group A)
Skillcamp took the LFL’s fifth EMEA Masters slot via roll-down after Galions were invited as Spring champions. While that isn’t the most convincing route in, the LFL remains one of the deepest ERLs, so no French side should be taken lightly.
Arctic Pandas arrive with stronger recent evidence. They topped the NLC Winter group stage at 8–1 before falling 3–0 to Verdant in the Grand Final, then swept that same Verdant side 2–0 in the NLC Summer Upper Bracket Semifinals on Aug. 31 on the way to a 3rd-place finish.
Our pick: Arctic Pandas, however it will be very close.
Bet on Skillcamp vs Arctic Pandas
Pyramid IV Esports vs LODIS (Group A)
Pyramid IV Esports have already outperformed expectations this split. They were only called into the Arabian League as a late replacement after Al Ahli Esports withdrew, yet still finished 3rd to book their EMEA Masters ticket.
LODIS, who finished 3rd in Rift Legends, are the more settled side on paper. Pyramid IV’s momentum makes them dangerous, but we expect LODIS to take this one.

Unicorns of Love Sexy Edition vs The Otter Side (Group B)
Unicorns of Love Sexy Edition finished 4th in the Prime League, one of the few ERLs awarded more than three EMEA Masters slots this split. The UOL SE brand also has pedigree at this level, having reached the EMEA Masters Grand Final in Spring 2023.
The Otter Side were LPLOL Spring champions and Summer runners-up, but they were knocked out in their Spring Play-In opener by E WIE EINFACH. We like USE to take the series.
Our pick: Unicorns of Love Sexy Edition.

Team Aqua ASD vs CITA Kaizen (Group B)
Team Aqua ASD have had a turbulent run-in. The roster started the LIT Summer Split under Aeterna Esports, continued as Los Goccioles after Aeterna withdrew, and was acquired by Team Aqua on Sept. 14, just before the LIT Lower Bracket Final.
CITA Kaizen, representing Hitpoint Masters, return after a 0–2 Play-In loss to Partizan Sangal in the Spring. Given the off-server disruption around Aqua, we lean towards the Hitpoint Masters side in the opener.
Our pick: CITA Kaizen.
Bet on EMEA Masters 2026 Summer
SU Esports vs Verdant (Group C)
Verdant have been one of the most consistent teams in the NLC this year, winning both the Winter and Spring titles before finishing 2nd in Summer. Their EMEA Masters Spring campaign ended with a 0–2 Play-In loss to Karmine Corp Blue, so there’s unfinished business here.
SU Esports finished 3rd in the TCL Summer Split. They’re capable of stealing a map, but Verdant’s title-winning experience should see them through.
Our pick: Verdant.
UCAM Esports Club vs mCon esports (Group C)
UCAM reached the LES Spring Grand Final after beating Movistar KOI Fénix in the Semifinals, then finished 4th in Summer to claim the LES’s bonus EMEA Masters slot. That Spring run makes them one of the strongest teams in the LCQ on paper.
mCon esports return after falling to Olympiacos Alimou in a best-of-one at the Spring Play-In. UCAM should be comfortable favorites.

Barça eSports vs BUBLIKI (Group D)
Barça eSports are the most proven team in the LCQ, having reached the EMEA Masters Grand Final in Spring 2025 before losing 3–0 to Los Ratones. They finished 3rd in the LES Summer Split after reaching the LES Spring Semifinals.
BUBLIKI finished 2nd in LPLOL Spring and 3rd in Summer. They have the experience to keep games competitive, but Barça should be heavy favorites to advance to the Winners’ Match.

Gamespace MCE vs Only The Family (Group D)
This looks like the closest opener of the day. Gamespace MCE finished 3rd in the Hellenic Legends League, while Only The Family represent the Esports Balkan League, and neither side has much recent cross-regional form to separate them.
With little between the two teams, total maps and map handicap markets may offer more interesting angles than the match winner line.
Our pick: Too close to call, with a series going the full three maps a real possibility.
Bet on Gamespace MCE vs Only The Family
Barça eSports (#1)
Barça eSports are our top pick to come through the LCQ and make noise in the Swiss Stage. They’re the only team in the field to have reached an EMEA Masters Grand Final in the last two years, finishing runners-up to Los Ratones in Spring 2025.
Their 2026 domestic record has also been solid, reaching the LES Spring Semifinals before losing to Los Heretics and then finishing 3rd in the LES Summer Split. Regular exposure to Los Heretics, Movistar KOI Fénix, and UCAM in one of EMEA’s strongest ERLs should leave them well prepared for best-of-three pressure.
Group D also looks favorable. If Barça handle BUBLIKI in the opener, they’ll face either Gamespace MCE or Only The Family for an immediate Swiss Stage spot.

UCAM Esports Club (#2)
UCAM Esports Club are our #2 pick, even if their route into the LCQ came through the back door. The Spanish side earned the LES’s bonus slot after Movistar KOI Fénix won the WSCI 2026 EMEA Qualifier Semifinals.
Don’t let that fool you. UCAM beat Movistar KOI Fénix in the LES Spring Semifinals to reach the Grand Final against Los Heretics, proving they can beat the region’s top ERL rosters in a series. A 4th-place Summer finish was a step back, but their ceiling is among the highest in the LCQ.
The main concern is the draw. UCAM and Verdant are both favorites in Group C, and a potential Winners’ Match between them could send one of the LCQ’s strongest teams into a Decider.

Verdant (#3)
Verdant round out our top three, backed by one of the most consistent domestic campaigns of any LCQ team this year.
They won NLC Winter with a 3–0 Grand Final sweep over Arctic Pandas, claimed the NLC Spring title, and finished 2nd in the Summer Split. Bobista, Mishigu, and Guggu have been part of the lineup across all three splits, giving Verdant a level of continuity few ERL rosters can match.
The question mark is how they match up against teams from the bigger ERLs. Verdant were swept 2–0 by Karmine Corp Blue at the Spring Play-In and dropped a 0–2 series to Arctic Pandas in the NLC Summer Playoffs, so a potential clash with UCAM will be a major test.
