With defending champions T1 chasing a historic four-peat, will another challenger derail their plan and claim the Summoner’s Cup?

Here’s everything you need to know about Worlds 2026, from key tournament details to our outright betting predictions and analysis of the top teams ahead of the Swiss Stage.

Note: All odds and statistics are accurate as of Oct. 20, 2026, and subject to change.

Worlds 2026 Schedule & Format

Worlds 2026 runs from Oct. 15 to Nov. 14 in front of a live crowd across three locations in the United States: the Riot Games Arena in Los Angeles, CA (Play-In Stage), the Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen, TX (Swiss Stage, Quarterfinals, and Semifinals), and the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY (Grand Final).

The Play-In Stage (Oct. 15–18) opens the tournament with a double-elimination bracket, featuring four teams competing for a seat in the Swiss Stage: the 3rd seeds from LCS, LEC, and LCP, and the 2nd seed from CBLOL. All matches will be played as a best-of-five using Fearless Draft, with the opening games determined by a random draw.

The Swiss Stage (Oct. 23–31) adopts a five-round Swiss format with 16 teams, including 15 pre-qualified and 1 Play-In qualifier. Teams with three wins advance to the Knockout Stage, while those with three losses are eliminated. Except for Elimination and Advancement matches, which will be best-of-three series using Fearless Draft, all other matches will be played as best-of-one.

The Knockout Stage (Nov. 3–14) ends the event, with the final eight teams competing in a brutal single-elimination bracket to determine the 16th League of Legends world champion. All matches will use Fearless Draft and be played as best-of-five series, promising nonstop action from start to finish.

Our Predictions For The Worlds 2026 Swiss Stage

Important: These predictions reflect the perceived strength of teams based on historical trends and the latest available odds. This analysis should not be interpreted as betting advice. Past performance does not guarantee future outcomes. Always gamble responsibly.

Gen.G (#1)

Gen.G (#2 GPR) is the favorite to lift the Summoner’s Cup, with outright odds of 3.00 representing a 33.3% implied probability of victory.

Despite missing out on the Mid-Season Invitational, the Korean juggernauts finished the LCK Regular Season with a 19–7 record (+22 game differential). In the Playoffs, they went unbeaten, sweeping KT Rolster 3–0 and defeating reigning MSI champion HLE 3–1 in both the Upper Final and Grand Final.

To date, Gen.G carry an impressive 33–9 series record (78.6% win rate) this year. A big reason for that? The formidable core of Kiin, Chovy, Canyon, and Ruler, with draft flexibility and adaptability making them particularly dangerous under Fearless Draft rules.

Historically, Gen.G’s international success has not translated into a Worlds victory, though the team’s consistency in one of League’s toughest regions, alongside their respectable international track record, stable roster, and deep champion pool, provides a strong basis for favoring them.

Gen.G roster:

  • Kim “Kiin” Gi-in
  • Kim “Canyon” Geon-bu
  • Jeong “Chovy” Ji-hoon
  • Park “Ruler” Jae-hyuk (Captain)
  • Joo “Duro” Min-kyu
  • Ryu “Ryu” Sang-wook (Head Coach)

Bilibili Gaming (#2)

Bilibili Gaming (#3 GPR) is our #2 pick and enters Worlds 2026 with one of the strongest domestic and international résumés, posting an impressive 48–11 series record (81.4% win rate).

The LPL powerhouse won the first two domestic splits and lifted the First Stand trophy before narrowly losing the Mid-Season Invitational final to HLE in a five-game thriller. Although BLG only managed 5th–8th at the Esports World Cup, they returned to finish 2nd in LPL Split 3, reinforcing their status as legitimate title contenders.

BLG’s star-studded lineup grants them multiple avenues to control games.

Midlaner Knight boasts a 6.5 KDA and 5.9 average kills per game, accounting for 26.2% of BLG’s damage this year. Meanwhile, two-time Worlds finalist Bin builds an early advantage in the top lane, averaging a 351 gold lead at 15 minutes, while ON enables ADC Viper to average an impressive 824 damage per minute in the bot lane.

At outright odds of 5.50, BLG have an implied probability of victory of 18.2%, a price that could underestimate their title prospects, given their strong results and deep roster.

Bilibili Gaming roster:

  • Chen “Bin” Ze-bin
  • Peng “Xun” Li-xun
  • Zhuo “Knight” Ding
  • Park “Viper” Do-hyeon (Captain)
  • Luo “ON” Wen-jun
  • Li “Flandre” Xuan-jun (Substitute)
  • Yang “Daeny” Dae-in (Head Coach)

T1 (#3)

T1 (#5 GPR) is our #3 pick to lift the Summoner’s Cup, given their reputation for saving their best strategies and plays for League of Legends’ biggest stage.

Despite another mixed campaign, which includes a 29–16 series record (64.4% win rate), the defending champions remain difficult to dismiss from our Worlds 2026 betting predictions. They completed a historic three-peat last year and are now chasing an unprecedented fourth straight world title.

Although T1’s signature “Worlds buff” seems to be more fan folklore than a measurable advantage, they have repeatedly turned disappointing seasons into unforgettable championship runs.

Faker is the difference maker. This is a player whose veteran experience, composure, and uncanny ability to deliver decisive plays under pressure give T1 a dangerous edge whenever elimination looms. Alongside world-class players like Oner and Keria, he continues to turn the tables when it matters most.

While Peyz’s arrival adds uncertainty to their title defense, it’s simply difficult to imagine a Grand Final without T1. At odds of 4.00, T1 has a 25.0% implied probability of winning the tournament outright.

T1 roster:

  • Choi “Doran” Hyeon-joon
  • Mun “Oner” Hyeon-jun
  • Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok (Captain)
  • Kim “Peyz” Su-hwan
  • Ryu “Keria” Min-seok
  • Im “Tom” Jae-hyeon (Interim Head Coach)
