FunPlus Phoenix (FPX) is an eSports organization from China. Currently, FunPlus Phoenix has rosters competing in League of Legends, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Valorant, Fortnite, and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.

The crowning moment for FPX came in 2019 when they won the League of Legends World Championship after storming through to the finals. Now, with a talented array of players under its belt, FPX is looking for more success over the coming decade. Currently, you can check out their Twitter and Instagram pages to see their latest updates.

FunPlus Phoenix History: 2017 – Now

Fun Plus Phoenix was founded in 2017 by the huge video game developer FunPlus, a company that has developed State of Survival, King of Avalon, and various other popular mobile games. After a slow start in 2017, where they finished 9th place in the 2017 Demacia Championship (LoL), FPX has since made some significant steps forward in the industry. Known primarily for their League of Legends roster, FPX also competes heavily in the Counter-Strike world, having first entered the CS: GO scene in 2020. Although they’re still relatively fresh in this game, the Fun Plus CSGO team doesn’t fail to excite fans.

When 2022 arrived, FPX decided to build a Valorant roster for the EMEA (a combination of the Europe, Turkey, and CIS regions). They then managed to successfully qualify for the 2022 VCT: Stage 1 Masters that took place in Reykjavik. However, FPX couldn’t attend because they were going to field Russian and Ukrainian players who were faced with travel restrictions.

After competing in more than 70 tournaments, FunPlus Phoenix currently sits with a modest value of around $3 million. Due to its popularity in China and Europe, FPX has also attracted various different sponsors over the years, including BMW, OPPO, PUMA, Cool Fish, and Herman Miller.

How to Bet on FunPlus Phoenix

Whether you’re a diehard fan of FPX or enjoy watching eSports events on a casual basis, you might be interested in placing some bets on the action. Yes, that’s right: you can now bet on eSports. Providing you’re above the legal gambling age in your country/state, you can place your bet now. It’s easy to place bets before and during live tournaments, so make sure to keep tabs on which of your favorite eSports teams are due to compete soon. This year, FunPlus Phoenix is expected to have a busy gaming schedule, so don’t miss out on it.
