We’re here with Boombl4 from BetBoom ahead of the first day of Thunderpick World Championship 2026.
Which of the groups do you think is the harder of the two?
Oh, I think it’s 50, 50, you know, 50, 50.
Is there anyone from the other group that you specifically would want to play if you make it to the playoffs?
Hmm, maybe it’s every time interesting versus Falcons. Because it’s starting, you know, and it’s nice to winning them. But it’s hard.
If you were to like poach a player from another team and just got to play with them for a day, who would be the player that you’d most want to play with?
Monesey, maybe.
Okay. Why Monesy?
Because it was time like in the previous days in Cloud nine. He can go to our team, but it’s not happened. So that’s why.

Betboom has some pretty big peaks this year. Is there a team that you think you might struggle with if you do end up playing against them?
You know, we two times, I think lost to FURIA and we have first match here. So it’s really interesting because we want the revenge, but this is not main goal for this tournament to win them. It’s of course the play good and go to playoffs, but just, you know, we want to enjoy this moment and play this tournament because the last result was not the best.
Some of the teams that did well at the major have kind of struggled after then. You guys have kept a pretty stable roster. Do you think that helps with consistency at all?
Yes, but you know, the last season was a lot of tournaments with the stand ins and this season we played freelance and full roster, so we can be happy for this. But still we have a lot of tournaments in the year, so everything is okay.
Some people think that the VRS is letting some of these softer teams make it through. How important is it to you that the best of the best keep getting added to S tiers? Or do you think it’s important that even lower ranked teams get a shot at upsets?
You know, yeah, I think our goal right now to stability to play on Tier 1 LANs because it’s really hard to go from online to lance. We understand how it is because one year ago we was the online team. Of course our goal, like I said, to play in the LANs and have some experience, to go to playoffs and be more professional. Tier one team.
Last year, BBT were one of the teams actually made it quite far through the closed qualifier. What does it feel like to now actually have a direct invite to an S tier like this?
Yeah, it’s great times. We have a lot of LANs and I think 60 days without [going] home because one week: Bootcamp, Katowice, Thunderpick and 3 more LANs after and the major is really, really close. So it’s not a lot of time to practice. But that’s why we’re playing because it’s. It’s our life. Tier one tournaments. It’s a great emotions and great opportunity.
There’s a lot of teams that are really close to being able to book in their tickets to Singapore off of the VRS points from this one. So is there anyone that you’re looking to try and play spoiler to as well?
I think we don’t want to think about it, you know so much.
You also were one of the teams that got to beat Falcons right before they finally picked up that first major win. Do you think you’re going to be able to make it a two time?
I hope so.
Who do you think is going to come first in the overall tournament and which team you think is coming last?
I don’t want to answer on these questions, you know, just don’t want to have the karma.
