This guide will cover everything you need to know about the PMGO 2024 Main Event in Brazil, including the schedule, teams, and broadcast details, as well as our analysis of the top teams.

PUBG Mobile Global Open 2024 Format & Schedule

The PUBG Mobile Global Open 2024 runs from March 4 to April 7 and follows a multi-stage competitive format:

  • Online Qualifiers (March 4-10)
  • Qualifier Finals (March 28-30)
  • Prelims (April 1-3)
  • Main Event (April 5-7) at ARCA in São Paulo, Brazil

The tournament began with the Online Qualifiers. In the first round, registered teams competed to be among the top 128. And by the second round, 32 teams advanced from these eliminations and proceeded to the Qualifier Finals. These teams were then split evenly into Groups A and B.

In this stage, the top eight from each group clashed in a showdown. The winner of the Qualifier Finals earned a direct entry to the Main Event, while the teams ranking 2nd-9th went to the Prelims and joined 16 teams from the 2024 PUBG Mobile Partnership Program.

The Prelims followed a round-robin format to filter the top eight teams. These teams are now in the PMGO 2024: Main Event, joining the Qualifier Finals winner and seven invited teams in an intense battle for the crown.

Our Predictions For PUBG Mobile Global Open 2024 – Main Event

The PUBG Mobile Global Open 2024 is filled with unpredictability, not just because of the presence of wildcard teams but also the extensive number of matches being played. It’s really anyone’s game!

But don’t let the high volatility sway you. Turn your bets into potential cash grabs by using our specialized PMGO 2024 betting predictions! Below is our expert analysis of the top teams competing at the PUBG Mobile Global Open in Brazil.

Important: These predictions reflect the perceived strength of teams based on historical trends and should not be interpreted as betting advice. Past performance does not guarantee future outcomes. Always gamble responsibly.

Alpha 7 Esports

Alpha 7 Esports is a strong contender at PMGO 2024, thanks to more than just home advantage. Last year, the Brazilian esports giants placed favorably at international events, including 3rd at PMGC in 2022-23 and 4th at the World Invitation 2023 Main Event and Allstars Stage.

Beyond this, the team has a string of victories in the domestic circuit, with victories at PMPL Americas and Brazil. They are currently ranked 8th globally and 3rd in the Americas. To date, A7 Esports has racked up $1,179,544 in prize winnings and appears dead set on adding the lion’s share of the prize pool to their purse.

Roster:

  • Lucas “Carrilho” Carrilho
  • Roan “Revo” Aléssio
  • Daniel “Mafioso” Vaz
  • Pedro “Pedrinho” Pereira
  • Jean “Magrelin” Filho
  • Arthur “Squash” Cavalcante

Vampire Esports

Vampire Esports is a Thai team praised for their relentless tenacity, adaptability, and success rate at the PMGO 2024: Prelims. The team has also proven themselves at high-stakes international events, placing 1st at PMPL Fall and PUBG Mobile World Invitational and 2nd at PMPL Spring last year.

Perhaps a more compelling reason for Vampire Esports’ potential to shine is star players SchwepXz and TonyK, who have each racked up numerous awards. Despite ranking 20th globally, the Thai powerhouse is a dark horse with solid odds of triggering an upset at the PMGO 2024: Main Event. They should not be underestimated!

Roster:

  • Purin “Stoned” Rongkhankaew
  • Supachai “SchwepXz” Singkaew
  • Nattawut “TonyK” Muensa
  • Sikarin “nOOzy” Nopparat
  • Natchaphon “Fluketh” Somtus
  • Thanarat “Rvenclaw” Makhotsa

IHC Esports

IHC Esports is another potential dark horse. Although the Mongolian PUBG Mobile team had a rocky performance last year, their ability to power through the Group, Survival, and Last Chance stages and win the PMGC 2023 title cannot be understated. It also proved that their success was not a lucky break.

The key to IHC’s success was undoubtedly star player and Finals MVP Zyol, who boasted an impressive tally of 37 kills to his name and a series of fantastic performances. Given that IHC Esports has displayed their determination and ability, the team’s odds largely hinge on them staying on form.

Roster:

  • Zolboot “Zyol” Bayartsengel
  • Bilguun “Godless” Baatarkhuu
  • Batbagana “DEMO” Batkhuyag
  • Khuselbaatar “Alex” Khatanbaatar
  • Dulaanjarga “Abely” Nyamlkhagva

All Eyes Are On The PMGO 2024 Main Event

As we edge closer to the conclusion of PMGO 2024, we can’t wait to see which team comes out on top. Will it be one of our picks like the dominant home team of Alpha 7? Or could a few other dark horses emerge to defy the odds? Whatever happens, we’re sure to see some serious strategy, skill, and sheer willpower on display as these 16 teams battle it out in Brazil.
