Astralis Overview: Place Your Bets on Astralis

Share this post:

Astralis is a popular eSports organization that primarily competes in the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive space. They also have additional teams representing them in FIFA, League of Legends, and more popular games.

Through an original and modern approach to gaming, Astralis has established itself as a positive, forward-thinking eSports brand with a focus on a balanced lifestyle. From top to bottom, Astralis takes its business model very seriously, with excellent team development within its academy as well as mainstream branding.

Interestingly, in September of 2022, Astralis launched a brand-new women’s team in Counter-Strike with the aim to support women in the gaming industry as well as compete for championships. So, if you’re looking for an exciting and progressive eSports organization to follow, then Astralis is definitely worth your attention.

Active: 2016 – Now

Astralis burst onto the scene in 2016 and haven’t looked back since. When people think about the professional eSports scene, Astralis is one of the first teams that come to mind.

It was founded by Frerik Byskov, Jacob Lund Kristensen, and the five founding players of:

  • Andreas “Xyp9x” Højsleth
  • René “cajunb” Borg
  • Nicolai “dev1ce” Reedtz
  • Finn “karrigan” Andersen
  • Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen

Since its inception, Astralis has consistently ranked among the top 3 Counter-Strike: Global Offensive teams in the world. This is largely thanks to their highly skilled roster and focus on training.

Back in 2018, Astralis was listed in the top 10 Danish start-ups to watch – and this indeed turned out to be a great prediction. Now, Astralis is widely followed around the world and have made a considerable mark in the CS: GO world. You can follow their latest news on Twitter and Instagram.

How to Bet on Astralis

Whenever Astralis teams are competing in divisions or tournaments, thousands of viewers will tune in to watch them. Some viewers will even bet on Astralis using an eSports betting platform. You can place your bet now on Astralis or any eSports team you like.

Astralis: Games, Divisions, and Rosters

Astralis is known for its incredibly exciting roster of players that play across CS: GO, League of Legends, DOTA 2, and Rainbow Six. If you’re interested to learn more, here’s an up-close examination of the Astralis roster:

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

Since 2016, Astralis CSGO has specialized in CS: GO tournaments. The CSGO Astralis roster consists of the following:

Finn “Finn” Wiestål

Doğukan “113” Balcı

Rainbow Six

Although Rainbow Six isn’t the main priority for Astralis, they still have a jam-packed roster of players.

David “iconic” Ifidon

A high-quality Rainbow Six player with a strong personality and a passionate following on Twitter.

Jack “J9O”Burkard

An American player with significant tournament experience.

Aaron “Shuttle” Dugger

Currently used as a substitute for Astralis, but (upon improvement) this could change, and “Dpfire” might solidify himself as a starter.
