The 2026 edition of EMEA Masters Summer began on Sept. 21, bringing Europe’s Tier 2 teams together for the final split of the year. EMEA Masters Summer 2026 Schedule & Format
The 2026 EMEA Masters Summer Split runs online from Sept. 21 to Oct. 23, bringing together 43 teams from the League of Legends EMEA Tier 2 circuit to clash for regional glory.
The Swiss Stage (Sept. 26–Oct. 2) follows a Swiss-style format with seven rounds, featuring a total of 32 teams, including 24 pre-qualified squads and eight from the Last Chance Qualifier. Qualification and Elimination matches will be played as best-of-three series, while all remaining matches are best-of-one.
The top 13 Swiss Stage teams advance directly to the Playoffs, while those finishing 14th–16th will proceed to the Knockout Matches (Oct. 4), where they go head-to-head against the WSCI 2026 EMEA representatives for the remaining Playoffs slots. All matches will be played as best-of-five series.
The Playoffs (Oct. 6–23) will feature 16 teams competing across a single-elimination bracket, with all matches played as best-of-five series. With no chance for redemption, there’s practically no room for error as teams fight relentlessly for the trophy.

Prize Pool Distribution
Riot has not announced a prize pool for EMEA Masters Summer 2026.
Previously, Summer events awarded €100,000 (in 2025) and €150,000 (in 2024 and 2023), but no prize pool has been announced for an EMEA Masters event this year. Riot has also not confirmed if the 2026 Summer champion will earn an LEC guest spot, as the 2025 champion did for LEC Versus 2026.

Forty-three teams entered the EMEA Masters Summer Split.
The EMEA Masters Winter and Spring champions, Solary and Galions, each received automatic direct invites. At the same time, Movistar KOI Fénix earned a spot in the Knockout Matches through the WSCI EMEA Qualifier. The remaining competitors all qualified through the 13 European Regional Leagues (ERLs).

Galions enter the EMEA Masters Summer Split as our #1 pick, supported by a fantastic 2026 campaign that includes runner-up finishes at the LFL Invitational, EMEA Masters Winter, and LFL Spring, followed by titles at both EMEA Masters Spring and LFL Summer.
At the more recent LFL Summer, Galions finished the Group Stage 6–3, level on wins with Solary and Skillcamp. They then proceeded to dominate the Upper Bracket, beating Joblife 2–0, Karmine Corp Blue 2–0, and TLN Pirates 3–0 without dropping a single game. In the Grand Final, they beat TLN Pirates again, this time going 3–1 to claim the trophy.
Galions also finished 5th–6th at the Esports World Cup EMEA Qualifiers, placing right behind LEC opposition. Even more impressive, their head-to-head game records against EMEA Masters Summer contenders include 11–3 against TLN Pirates and 5–2 against Karmine Corp Blue. The team’s primary obstacle is Solary, who lead with an 8–3 match H2H record this year.
Beyond their impressive campaign, Galions’ stable roster, strong 47–18 match record (72.3% win rate), and Knockout Matches berth give them the most direct path to the EMEA Masters Summer title.

Solary (#2)
Solary follow close behind as our #2 pick to win EMEA Masters Summer 2026.
The French organization began its 2026 campaign by triumphing at the LFL Invitational, EMEA Masters Winter, and LFL Spring. At EMEA Masters Spring, Solary went 10–4 in games and finished 2nd after a devastating 3–0 loss to Galions in the Grand Final. Across the Main Event, though, they still averaged a 3,038 gold lead at 15 minutes, which was nearly double Galions’ early lead.
Solary finished as the #1 seed after the LFL Summer Group Stage, though a 0–2 defeat to TLN sent them to the Lower Bracket. There, a subsequent 2–1 loss to Skillcamp ended their run, leaving them in 5th place. Despite that setback, Solary still opened their WSCI 2026 group with a flawless 4–0 record, proving that their morale has gone unperturbed.
As of Sept. 24, Solary have recorded a strong 44–12 match record (78.6% win rate) in 2026, including an impressive 8–3 H2H against Galions. By contrast, Skillcamp have held them to a 3–3 game record, while TLN Pirates lead them 3–2 in games, making them Solary’s main source of upset.

TLN Pirates (#3)
TLN Pirates are our ambitious #3 pick to take the EMEA Masters Summer title.
Despite forming only in January, TLN Pirates finished 4th at both the LFL Invitational and LFL Spring. More recently, they reached the LFL Summer Final, where they managed to take a game off Galions. They have also produced respectable H2H game records against other promising competitors, going 6–4 against Karmine Corp Blue, 3–2 against Solary, and 2–1 against Skillcamp.
Even so, Galions remain the team’s biggest obstacle, having won only one of their six meetings this year (3–11 game H2H). At the heart of the team’s recent success is the bot lane duo of Axelent and ThomasFate. Axelent averaged 5.9 kills and dealt 29% of TLN’s damage during the LFL Summer Playoffs, while ThomasFate was involved in 78.6% of the team’s kills.
TLN Pirates will have to survive the Swiss Stage to make a title run, though wins over Solary and Karmine Corp Blue make them a credible dark horse if they reach the Playoffs.
