Team Empire started in 2004, when Alexey “Buklan” Kondakov and Anton “dERZKIY” Tkachev joined forces to form an esports organization. The team initially focused on Warcraft 3, Quake 4 and Counter-Strike: Source. In 2007, the organization expanded to include teams in console gaming and Dota 2.
