Our Predictions For TWC NA Qualifier 2

In the next section, we’ll share our predictions for the Thunderpick World Championship 2024: North American Qualifier 2, in no particular order. With our expert insights and analysis, you’ll be well-equipped to make better-informed bets.

Important: These predictions reflect the perceived strength of teams based on historical trends and the latest odds. This analysis should not be interpreted as betting advice. Past performance does not guarantee future outcomes. Always gamble responsibly.

Legacy

Legacy has strong upset potential at TWC 2024: NA Qualifier 2. They’re ranked fourth out of all North American teams in the ESL World Rankings, averaging 49th overall. Their performance has been a mixed bag (50% win rate in the last quarter), but the odds still suggest they are the most likely victor.

There’s some uncertainty with the team, especially after the departure of veteran AWPer Coldzera and his stand-in Stewie2K. These players were integral to the team, and their absence could hurt Legacy’s performance in the Qualifier. On the other hand, the acquisition of Saadzin from w7m could bring a fresh perspective and new strategies to the team.

Legacy roster:

  • Bruno “latto” Rebelatto
  • Eduardo “dumau” Wolkmer
  • Gabriel “NEKIZ” Schenato (IGL)
  • Bruno “b4rtiN” Câmara
  • Guilherme “saadzin“ Pacheco
  • Olavo “chucky” Napoleão (Coach)

NRG

NRG is a solid contender for the North America Qualifier 2 title. The team boasts a solid 62.5% win rate over the past quarter, with notable achievements including a recent 3rd-4th place finish at TWC: NA Qualifier 1, 2nd place at the NA Revival Cup, and a victory at David’s Cup.

NRG’s performance also includes a 2-0 victory over Legacy, showcasing their ability to compete against other top teams. Beyond this, they have a roster of skilled players, notably ex-Liquid AWPer oSee, who adds strength to their lineup. However, NRG will need to stay on form if they hope to secure a spot at the Main Event.

NRG roster:

  • Joshua “oSee” Ohm
  • Vincent “Brehze” Cayonte
  • Jadan “HexT” Postma
  • Colby “Walco” Walsh (IGL)
  • Timothy “autimatic” Ta
  • Damian “daps” Steele (Coach)

Nouns Esports

The odds suggest Nouns Esports has a fighting chance of securing a top-3 finish. They rank 44th in the ESL World Rankings and fifth in North America. They also performed well in the last three months, winning 70.5% of matches. This includes victories at BoomTV Code Freedom and NA Revival Cup.

They also secured the runner-up spot at the TWC 2024: NA Qualifier 1, beating Party Astronauts 2-0 and NRG 2-1. While they didn’t manage to beat M80 in the Grand Final, coming so close to securing a spot at the Thunderpick World Championship could inspire new confidence in their next attempt.

Nouns Esports roster:

  • Carson “nosraC” O’Reilly (IGL)
  • Christopher “cJ-dA-K1nG” Jones
  • Jeorge “jeorge” Endicott
  • Paytyn “junior” Johnson
  • William “RUSH” Wierzba
  • Eric “adreN” Hoag (Coach)

Party Astronauts

Party Astronauts also has a shot at a top-3 finish at TWC 2024: NA Qualifier 2. The team ranks 48th in the ESL World Rankings with a 67.4% win rate over the last quarter. Despite the departure of Riflers RUSH and Chop, who Infinite and FaNg replaced, the team has maintained its composure.

This adaptability inspires significant confidence in their ability to make upsets. However, it hinges heavily on the team’s form and ability to synergize under pressure. Party Astronauts must bring their A-game if they hope to defy the odds and clinch a spot at the Main Event.

Party Astronauts roster:

  • Ben “ben1337” Smith (IGL)
  • Danny “cxzi” Strzelczyk
  • Adam “WolfY” Andersson
  • Gage “Infinite” Green
  • Justin “FaNg” Coakley
  • Luke “Viathan” Carstens (Coach)

Overall, the odds indicate that the TWC 2024: NA Qualifier 2 is expected to be a closely contested tournament with significant unpredictability. Although these teams are strong candidates, the high-stakes nature of the event means upsets are highly likely, making the outcome difficult to predict accurately.
