LCS Spring 2024 Schedule

The LCS 2024 Spring Split runs from January 20 – March 31 at the Riot Games Arena in Los Angeles, Calif., and PNC Arena in Raleigh, N.C. The initial Group Stage (Jan. 20-March 10) follows a double round-robin format, with each team playing best-of-one matches over six weeks.

The top six teams will advance to the Playoffs (March 14-31), which adopts a double-elimination style format. All matches will be played as a best-of-five series. Teams placing 1st-4th will seed into the upper bracket, while those ranking 5th-6th will start in the lower bracket.

Once the dust settles, the 2024 Spring Split champion and runner-up will each represent the LCS at the 2024 Mid-Season Invitational in Chengdu, China. Don’t miss a second of the action and stay informed by following the official LCK Spring 2024 schedule.

How To Watch LCS Spring 2024

You can watch the LCS Spring 2024 matches on the official LoL esports website and Riot Games’ broadcast channels: Twitch (EN) and YouTube (EN). Teams Competing In LCS Spring 2024

The LCS Spring 2024 will feature eight North American pro teams competing for a share of $200,000 and Championship Points:

Note: Riot Games and the LCS restructured the North American league for the 2024 Regular Season, which reduced the number of participating teams from ten to eight. This decision means Evil Geniuses and Golden Guardians won’t compete.

Important: These predictions reflect the perceived strength of teams based on historical trends and should not be interpreted as betting advice. Past performance does not guarantee future outcomes. Always gamble responsibly.

1. Cloud9

Cloud9 is regarded as the top team in the 2024 LCS Spring Split, and their status is underscored by a solid, consistent domestic record over the past few years. Their achievements include clinching the LCS Spring 2023 title and securing 2nd place in the LCS Summer 2023. They’ve also reached the Worlds quarterfinals four times.

C9’s new lineup is expected to boost their prospects. They replaced EMENES with ex-EG star Jojopyun in the midlane and re-signed their 2019-2021 support, Vulcan. This move, along with Blabber in the jungle and titanic ADC Berserker in the bot lane, solidifies Cloud9’s position as a true force.

Cloud9 roster:

  • Ibrahim “Fudge” Allami
  • Robert “Blaber” Huang
  • Joseph “Jojopyun” Pyun
  • Kim “Berserker” Min-cheol
  • Philippe “Vulcan” Laflamme

2. NRG

NRG is seen as the second-best team in the LCS thanks to their strong lineup of high-skilled players. The roster boasts fantastic synergy, especially between Dhokla, Contractz, and Palafox. Complementing this point is the acquisition of ex-Golden Guardians support Huhi, whose prior experience with FBI is set to significantly boost NRG’s botside.

While NRG is in a good position to claim two consecutive LCS Spring titles, there are some reservations about the team’s ability to remain on form. Nevertheless, having made it to the Worlds 2023 quarterfinals, the odds are favorable for NRG and suggest they could replicate last year’s finals success.

NRG roster:

  • Niship “Dhokla” Doshi
  • Juan “Contractz” Garcia
  • Cristian “Palafox” Palafox
  • Victor “FBI” Huang
  • Choi “huhi” Jae-hyun

3. FlyQuest

There’s a skill and performance gap that exists between the top two teams and the third-ranked contender at this tournament. While FlyQuest has the potential to clinch the North American regional championship, this prediction must be considered alongside several uncertainties.

For instance, Massu’s transition from a promising prospect in FLY. Challengers to being a consistent performer in the pro scene remains a critical variable as he’s tasked to deliver in the pivotal role of ADC. While his botside with Busio does appear strong on paper, it still lags behind the duo pairings of top teams like C9 and NRG.

However, Massu and Busio’s synergy and maturation may be the key to closing this gap over time. Beyond this, top lane veterans Jensen and Bwipo bring much-needed experience and skill to FlyQuest. There are still concerns about their current form, though, so we’re very curious to see how FlyQuest performs at the LCS.

FlyQuest roster:

  • Gabriël “Bwipo” Rau
  • Kacper “Inspired” Słoma
  • Nicolaj “Jensen” Jensen
  • Fahad “Massu” Abdulmalek
  • Alan “Busio” Cwalina

4. Team Liquid

Team Liquid is ranked similarly to FlyQuest, facing low-medium odds of winning at LCS Spring 2024. Despite substantial investment in their new roster, the team has struggled to shake criticism about their uneven performance. Notably, their core strength lies in players Impact and CoreJJ, though that’s overshadowed by weaknesses in other positions.

This includes Yeon’s integration into Liquid’s lineup, which has been met with skepticism due to his underwhelming team-fighting ability and overall proficiency. Likewise, the acquisition of ex-BRION player UmTi has also been viewed critically by experts.

The combination of UmTi and Impact could potentially form a notable topside, especially in a tank-favoring meta, but there is some reservation about Team Liquid’s capacity for aggression and firepower. Overall, this shortfall in both playstyle and versatility may hinder their ability to consistently dominate their matches.

Team Liquid roster:

  • Jeong “Impact” Eon-young
  • Eom “UmTi” Seong-hyeon
  • Eain “APA” Stearns
  • Sean “Yeon” Sung
  • Jo “CoreJJ” Yong-in
