Best VALORANT Crosshair Shapes & Colors

Crosshair shapes and colors in VALORANT are a matter of personal preference, so your choice depends on your gameplay style and which colors your eyes are most comfortable with. Maybe you’ve grown accustomed to a standard crosshair shape and color. There’s no wrong answer!

Cyan, white, green, and black are the most popular crosshair colors among pro players in the upper echelons of VALORANT esports. In terms of shape, the most popular options are a tiny dot (with or without an outline) and a standard four-line crosshair.

From our detailed research, we’ve found that many top-tier pros prefer a small white circle or square without an outline for the sniper scopes. Only a few pro players prefer another color, and if they do, it’s generally black or yellow.

VALORANT Crosshair Code FAQs

While we are confident you’ll find the perfect shape and color by emulating one of the different crosshairs in this guide, we want to answer all of your burning questions.

Does Your Crosshair Color Really Matter?

Yes, crosshair color matters more than many gamers may realize. For example, using a darker crosshair color on VALORANT maps with a brighter lighting system and color scheme is advantageous, while using lighter crosshair colors such as light blue or cyan works well on maps with darker corners.

What Crosshair Type Should I Use For Spraying?

Any crosshair works for spraying or when using a weapon’s Primary view. However, we recommend using a medium, light-blue crosshair with a relatively big transparent middle area.

Crosshair code for spraying: 0;p;0;s;1;P;c;5;u;00009BFF;o;1;f;0;0l;5;0v;3;0o;4;0a;1;0f;0;1b;0;A;u;00008BFF;o;1;d;1;0l;1;0o;1;0a;1;0f;0;1b;0;S;c;5

Are There Crosshair Shapes Specifically Designed For Headshots?

There are many opinions on this one. Some prefer the smallest size and shape possible, such as a white dot. Others like the oval-shaped crosshair or the two dots.

  • Two dot crosshair shape (cyan): 0;P;c;8;u;00FF9DFF;o;1;b;1;0l;2;0v;0;0g;1;0o;4;0a;1;0f;0;1b;0
  • Oval-shaped crosshair (blue): 0;P;c;8;u;00FFB4FF;h;0;b;1;0l;2;0v;0;0g;1;0o;2;0a;1;0f;0;1t;6;1l;0;1v;1;1g;1;1o;1;1a;1;1m;0;1f;0
  • White dot with outline: 0;P;o;1;d;1;0b;0;1b;0

You can just as easily select any of the pro VALORANT crosshair codes we’ve shared in this guide for excellent headshot accuracy.

Can I Turn Off The Crosshair in VALORANT?

While we don’t recommend it, you can completely turn off your crosshair in VALORANT. Simply navigate to the Crosshair tab in settings, and then right at the bottom, you can toggle the “Disable Crosshair” option to “On.”

Should My ADS Crosshair Differ From Primary?

Most top VCT pros and streamers, including TenZ, Derke, aspas, cNed, f0rsaken, demon1, and Boaster, use the same crosshair shape, color, and size for ADS and Primary. However, VALORANT Champions 2024 MVP ZmjjKK has a red crosshair as Primary and a white dot for ADS, while RieNs has more subtle differences in his Primary and ADS crosshairs.

Again, it’s all a matter of personal preference and playstyle. If you want them to differ, consider using a bigger crosshair for Primary and a smaller one, such as a dot, for ADS.
