Our Predictions For EWC 2026 VALORANT
Here are our predictions of the teams most likely to dominate at EWC 2026 VALORANT.
Important: These predictions reflect the perceived strength of teams based on historical trends and the latest available odds. This analysis should not be interpreted as betting advice. Past performance does not guarantee future outcomes. Always gamble responsibly.
Paper Rex (#1)
Paper Rex (ranked #2 GPR) enters as a heavy favorite, backed by a rockstar lineup and a year of blistering performances.
Building on last year’s campaign, Paper Rex continued to dominate the VCT Pacific league, placing 3rd at Kickoff before claiming victory at Stage 1. They also impressed with back-to-back grand final appearances on the international stage, including 2nd-place finishes at both Masters Santiago and Masters London.
The team’s signature aggression and high-tempo plays, combined with their unpredictable stratbook, often leave them uncontested by opponents. At the same time, a veteran core of f0rsakeN, something, Jinggg, and d4v41 gives Paper Rex some of the most mechanically gifted players in the entire scene.
At outright odds of 3.00 (+200), Paper Rex has a 33.3% implied probability to win the entire VALORANT tournament, while a price of 1.70 (-143) implies a massive 58.8% chance they will reach yet another grand final.
Paper Rex roster:
- Khalish “d4v41” Rusyaidee (IGL)
- Jason “f0rsakeN” Susanto
- Ilya “something” Petrov
- Jing Jie “Jinggg” Wang
- Adrian “invy” Reyes
- Alexandre “alecks” Sallé (Coach)
G2 Esports (#2)
G2 Esports (ranked #8 GPR) is our #2 pick at EWC 2026 VALORANT, heading to Paris with an impressive 15–9 record and a formidable 62.5% win rate this season.
The North American side has demonstrated strong regional performances. After sweeping MIBR 3–0 in the Mid Bracket Final to finish as runners-up at Americas Kickoff, G2 hit their stride during VCT Stage 1, bouncing back from a rough Group Stage before going on a historic tear, ending with a tense 3–2 Grand Final victory over Leviatán.
On the international stage, G2 has posted mixed results. They placed 4th at Masters Santiago after a solid Lower Bracket run, but failed to push further following elimination by Paper Rex. Though their Masters London run was cut short by a 7th–8th finish, the team has retained much confidence in their ability to orchestrate a deep run.
While G2 operates on a more structured playbook than Paper Rex, the team’s strong default setups, strict map control, and flawless macro execs give them a solid edge against nearly everyone on the server, and the odds reflect that confidence.
With outright odds of 6.00 (+500), G2 Esports have a 16.67% implied probability to take the trophy.
G2 Esports roster:
- Trent “trent” Cairns
- Jacob “valyn” Batio (IGL)
- Nathan “leaf” Orf
- Alexander “jawgemo” Mor
- Andrej “babybay” Francisty
- Josh “JoshRT” Lee (Coach)
Team Vitality (#3)
Team Vitality might not have the most consistent track record, but they have the firepower to go all the way.
A testament to this, Vitality recently placed 4th at Masters London, leaving the Swiss Stage with a 2–0 score before sweeping powerhouse squads like VALORANT EWC 2025 champions Team Heretics (2–0) in the Upper Quarterfinals and later obliterating FUT Esports (2–0) in the Lower Bracket.
On the domestic circuit, Vitality finished 5th at Kickoff and 2nd at Stage 1, narrowly losing a nail-biting 2–3 grand final series against Team Heretics for the trophy. Overall, the team’s off-season roster overhaul has paid dividends, transforming Vitality into a dangerous contender – especially with Chronicle and Derke leading the charge.
The EMEA giants enter EWC 2026 VALORANT with outright odds of 7.00 (+600), representing a slim 14.3% implied probability of victory. Even so, odds of 4.00 (+300) suggest a 25.0% implied probability to reach the Grand Final and challenge for the crown.
Team Vitality roster:
- Nikita “Derke” Sirmitev
- Ștefan “Sayonara” Mîtcu
- Timofey “Chronicle” Khromov
- Elias “Jamppi” Olkkonen (IGL)
- Dawid “PROFEK” Święć
- Gregor “PAL” Morton (Coach)
