Heroic’s History
From humble beginnings in March 2013 as a “casual home” for Danish players in Copenhagen, the organization’s first purpose was to transport talented players to tournaments, facilitate payments of tournament fees, and distribute any prize pools. Heroic essentially supported rising talents, including the legendary Nicolai “dev1ce” Reedtz, while also hosting community esports events in the capital city.

- ESL One Cologne 2020 Online Europe: First place, destroying Team Vitality 3-0 in the final.
- ESL Pro League Season 13: First place, narrowly defeating Gambit Esports 3-2 in the final.
- PGL Major Stockholm 2021: Third/fourth place, knocked out by G2 Sports.
- Pinnacle Cup Championship: First place, beating Astralis 2-0 in the final.
- Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Rio Major 2022: Second place, losing 2-0 to Outsiders in the final.
- BLAST Premier Fall Finals 2022: First place, defeating FaZe Clan 2-1 in the final.
- IEM Katowice 2023: Second place, losing 3-1 to G2 Esports in the final.
- BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023: Third/fourth place, knocked out by GamerLegion.
- BLAST Premier Spring Final 2023: First place, beating Team Vitality 2-1 in the final.
- Gamers8 2023: Third/fourth place, knocked out by ENCE.
The Counter-Strike division’s first recorded tournament win was Power-LAN 2016 against Team Dignitas. Despite their efforts, Heroic has never won a Counter-Strike Major Championship or made it to a Major grand final.
Heroic’s Counter-Strike Team
Heroic’s Counter-Strike roster is packed with Danish players, including the legendary Casper “cadiaN” Møller, known for carrying his heart on his sleeve and feeding off the crowd’s roar. Heroic’s SIM Racing Team
Team Heroic entered the SIM Racing scene on Feb. 2, 2023. Since then, the organization has become a partner team in the ESL R1 League and placed 9th in the Spring 2023 event. Another notable achievement is placing 8th at the ESL R1 x Gamers8 2023 tournament.
