From July 26 to August 6, the Intel Extreme Masters will take place in Cologne, Germany.

The format of Intel Extreme Masters Cologne 2023 will work like this: 

Play-In: July 25 – July 26 

The first stage of IEM Cologne 2023 is the play-in stage. This is where teams compete to make it to Groups A and B in the Group Stage.  It’s a double elimination bracket starting with Bo1 and following this is a Bo3. The top eight teams will then proceed to the Group Stage. 

Group Stage: July 27 – July 30

Here, the competition will start to heat up a little bit. The best teams from the play-in will advance to the Group Stage and be put into either Group A or Group B based on their rankings. Teams that are successful in the Group Stage will then make it through to the big money Playoffs. All matches played are Bo3.

Playoffs 

The Playoffs feature the teams that finished highest in Groups A and B. There are the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and then the Grand Final. The winner of the Grand Final will solidify a spot at IEM Katowice 2024. All matches here are Bo3, with the Grand Final being Bo5. 

Who Will Win Intel Extreme Masters Cologne 2023?
