Running from Sept. 4 to 6, the BLAST Open Porto 2026 Playoffs Stage features a no-nonsense single-elimination bracket format. The Grand Final is best-of-five, while all other matches are best-of-three.

Our BLAST Open Porto 2026 Playoffs Predictions

With only six teams left, we are doing the BLAST Open Porto 2026 Playoffs Stage predictions a bit differently.

We first consider the latest odds for the Quarterfinal matchups before making our finalist picks, drawing on in-depth research across various stats.

Important: When discussing outright winner odds, we mention both the American and Decimal formats. We also note the implied probabilities, which indicate a team’s chances of success based on the odds. This analysis should not be interpreted as betting advice. Past performance does not guarantee future outcomes. Gamble responsibly.

Falcons vs. G2 Prediction & Odds

The opening match, Team Falcons vs. G2 Esports, should be an absolute barnburner. G2 Esports narrowly survived Group A in 3rd place, while Team Falcons finished 2nd in Group B.

Filled to the brim with superstars, Team Falcons is our pick to go through to the Semifinals to face Team Spirit. Match winner odds of 1.55 (-181.82) indicate there’s a 64.52% probability that Finn “karrigan” Andersen will lead his team to victory.

Ranked #3 on VRS Global, Team Falcons has a 6–2 map win record over G2 Esports (Ranked #8). Importantly, the last three times these sides met, Team Falcons came out on top.

Vitality vs. FURIA Prediction & Odds

Despite playing with a stand-in, Justinas “jL” Lekavičius, we think that Team Vitality has an edge over FURIA in the 2nd Quarterfinals match. Recent head-to-head stats show Team Vitality winning 13 maps and FURIA 7.

Team Vitality vs. FURIA might turn into a nail-biting slugfest. FURIA finished 2nd in Group A, only losing to favorites Team Spirit. In Group B, Team Vitality suffered an early defeat at the hands of underdogs Inner Circle, before pulling themselves together to place 3rd.

On the VRS Global leaderboard, Team Vitality is ranked #5, while FURIA is #7. Match winner odds of 1.50 (-200) imply there’s a 66.67% probability that apEX’s men will send FURIA packing.

Team Spirit (#1)

We are sticking to our guns with Team Spirit as the favorite to lift the trophy, doubling down on our pre-event predictions

Team Spirit showed no mercy in Group A, swiftly defeating DENDELE CS, G2 Esports, and FURIA with crushing 2–0 sweeps to earn a Semifinals berth.

Sitting pretty on top of the VRS Global leaderboard, with a current win streak of nine and an 87% match win rate, Team Spirit hasn’t lost a single map at BLAST Open Porto.

If the 2024 Player of the Year, donk, continues to power up (currently at a whopping 1.62 rating after six maps played), Team Spirit can lift back-to-back trophies following their win at EWC 2026.

Team Spirit roster:

  • Danil “donk” Kryshkovets
  • Dmitriy “sh1ro” Sokolov
  • Myroslav “zont1x” Plakhotia
  • Andrey “tN1R” Tatarinovich
  • Boris “magixx” Vorobyev (IGL)
  • Sergey “hally” Shavayev (Coach)

MOUZ (#2)

After their energetic display of skill during the Group Stage, there’s increased confidence that MOUZ could earn a spot in the Grand Final. The team has shot up the VRS Global leaderboard to the #2 spot following their recent performance.

Pre-event tournament winner odds had MOUZ as the 6th-strongest. In Group B, however, MOUZ clicked heads with vigor, with young Hungarian rifler xelex as a top-three player in the event thus far.

MOUZ smashed 9z Team with a convincing 2–0 in their opening match, and matched their success against Inner Circle with another clean sweep. Most impressive was defeating Team Falcons with a 2–1 reverse-sweep comeback to claim the top spot in Group B, and thereby a Semifinals slot.

MOUZ roster:

  • Ádám “torzsi” Torzsás
  • Lotan “Spinx” Giladi
  • Adrian “xelex” Vincze
  • Oldřich “PR” Nový
  • Dorian “xertioN” Berman (IGL)
  • Dennis “sycrone” Nielsen (Coach)
