EWC 2026 CS2 Schedule & Format
The tournament runs from Aug. 12 to 23, featuring two distinct stages of competition.
All 32 teams will begin their journey in the Group Stage, split into four groups of eight teams each. A double-elimination (GSL-style) format is used, with best-of-one opening matches. All other matches are best-of-three. The top four teams from each group move on to the Playoffs Stage.
In front of a crowd at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles venue, the final 16 teams will compete in a single-elimination bracket with a third-place decider. All matches are best-of-three, except the Grand Final, which is best-of-five.
The organizers decided to move the Finals Day to the Accor Arena due to popular demand.
